Guiyang to increase rail capacity for holiday

In response to the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival travel season from Sept 19 to 21, the Guiyang Passenger Transport Section of China Railway Chengdu Group Co will increase its passenger transportation capacity and provide better passenger services. 

The Guiyang Passenger Transport Section plans to open 15 round-trip high-speed trains and four round-trip ordinary-speed trains between Guiyang North Railway Station and Neijiang North, Chongqing West, Liupanshui, Zunyi, Bijie, Kaili South, Wanzhou North, Kaiyang, Caohai, and Zhenyuan railway stations. 

It will adjust 25 daily round-trip single-unit high-speed trains into multiple-unit high-speed trains between Guiyang North Railway Station and Bijie, Chongqing West, Chengdu East, Congjiang, and Xi'an North railway stations to further increase passenger capacity. 

In combination with preferential policies for autumn and winter tourism in Southwest China's Guizhou province, the Guiyang Passenger Transport Section will enhance passenger services, providing seat inquiries, book reading, entertainment for children, and consultations on travel transfer routes for senior passengers, breastfeeding mothers, children, and people with visual impairments.
