Guiyang-Wuyishan direct air service launched

To offer passengers more travel options, 9 Air Co officially opened a direct flight from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to Wuyishan county-level city in East China's Fujian province, on Sept 9.

It is the only regular direct flight between the two cities. 

The round-trip flight is scheduled for every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It departs from Wuyishan Airport at 09:45 and arrives at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 12:05. Return flights depart from Guiyang at 06:30 and arrive in Wuyishan at 8:50. 

It costs 309 yuan ($47.94) and takes two hours for the one-way air trip, which is over 30 percent cheaper than the seven-hour one-way trip by rail. 

The new flight will greatly save on time and costs for passengers travelling between the two places and promote exchanges and cooperation in tourism, economy, trade, and talent between the two places.
