Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will increase passenger trains to handle the spike in tourist numbers over the upcoming May Day holiday, which will begin on May 1 and end on May 5.
From April 19 to May 6, it will add train D8588 from Guiyang North Railway Station to Zunyi, departing from Guiyang at 10:45 am and arriving in Zunyi at 11:41 am. Another train, D8590, will depart from Guiyang at 2:27 pm and arrive in Zunyi at 3:19 pm.
Two trains from Zunyi to Guiyang North Railway Station will also be added. D8587 will depart from Zunyi at 12:13 pm and arrive in Guiyang at 1:06 pm, while D8589 will depart from Zunyi at 3:46 pm and arrive in Guiyang at 4:39 pm.
From April 29 to May 6, the city will add train C6041 from Guiyang North Railway Station to Liupanshui, departing from Guiyang at 10:58 am and arriving in Liupanshui at 12:18 pm. Another train, C6043, will depart from Guiyang at 2:39 pm and arrive in Liupanshui at 4:05 pm.
In addition, during this period, train C6042 will depart from Liupanshui at 1:00 pm and arrive in Guiyang at 2:20 pm, and C6044 will depart from Liupanshui at 4:29 pm and arrive in Guiyang at 6:01 pm.
