Guiyang Metro Line 2 welcomes first batch of staff members

With the steady progress of preparations for Guiyang Metro Line 2, the operation branch of Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Group Co Ltd recently deployed its staff members to enter each subway station.

At present, construction in a few stations remains to be completed.

Station staff members communicated with the construction workers to be allowed to use office rooms and they changed room names, put up evacuation plans, cleaned management rooms and arranged office materials and furniture.

During the transition period, station staff members familiarized themselves with layout of stations and the surrounding environment.

They investigated potential safety hazards, identified problems existing in the construction process and followed up commissioning and installation of station equipment and facilities, so as to lay a solid foundation for the commissioning work at the end of the month.

To ensure safety, staff members carried out station work in an orderly manner, checking out passenger signs, safety hazards and remaining construction issues.
